Ammar al Masri

Ammar Al Masri is a Senior WiFi Algorithms and Systems Engineer at Plume Design, Inc., with extensive experience in cloud-based algorithm development for WiFi network optimization. Previously, Ammar served as a Senior Software Engineer at Intel Corporation, where a C/C++-based RESTful API was developed and integrated into multiple operating systems. As an Engineering Manager at Mage Networks Inc., oversight was provided for a team while securing $275K in government grants. With a strong research background, Ammar has contributed innovative solutions in telecommunications, including mobility-aware systems and optimization frameworks during tenure at the University of Calgary and SAIT. Ammar holds a Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary, along with a BS in Telecommunication Engineering from Damascus University.
