Mark S. Kopson

Mark S. Kopson chairs Plunkett Cooney's Health Care Industry Group and has served on the firm's Board of Directors.

A partner in Plunkett Cooney's Bloomfield Hills office, Mr. Kopson represents a wide variety of health facilities, health plans, professional practices, integrated delivery systems and managed care organizations in the state of Michigan and throughout the United States.

Mr. Kopson has extensive experience and expertise in the areas of commercial and governmental managed care contracting, revenue cycle, regulation and dispute resolution; sales, mergers and acquisitions of hospitals, ASCs, nursing homes and professional practices; conversion of non-profits to for-profits; certificates of need; and HIPAA, Stark and Anti-kickback compliance and agency investigation response.
