Spencer Astorga

Spencer Astorga is an accomplished Information Security Engineer at Pluralsight since May 2021, having previously served as an Information Security Analyst. Spencer's background includes a role as a Computer Programmer at Brigham Young University from October 2019 to June 2022, where Python scripts were developed to create data reports for online instructors. A Cyber Intern at Deloitte for a brief period in July 2020, Spencer also led an internship team at MWT International, focusing on the development of a web-based database system. Earlier experience includes managing inventory at Purity International and providing customer solutions at Vivint Smart Home, where leadership skills were demonstrated through team management and training. Spencer holds a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Brigham Young University, complemented by recognition on the Dean's List at Utah Valley University.
