Language Analyst at Pluralytics

Christopher Lapinski has a wealth of experience in the fields of language, writing, and editing. In 2009, they began their career as a Tutor at Huntington Learning Center, where they instructed elementary and middle school students in English and language arts, as well as assisted high school students in preparation for the SAT Verbal and Writing sections. In 2011, they became an Editorial Intern at Columbia University Press, where they reviewed academic manuscripts and jacket copy for style and formatting consistency. In 2012, they began working at Upwork as a Content Writer | Editor | Designer, where they edited print and digital content, wrote and edited content for Wikipedia, and researched funding sources for nonprofit organizations and wrote proposals. Also in 2012, they became an English Instructor / Instructional Assistant at Princeton Public Schools, where they organized and instructed classes in Academic English, journalism, and HSPA Prep. In 2013, they began working at the New Jersey State Museum as a Museum Associate, where they informed visitors of the Museum's collections, exhibits, and programs, and reviewed and edited informational scripts for new exhibitions. In 2015, they became an Art & Design Coordinator at Princeton University Press, where they helped plan, organize, and administer the Design Department's work flow, assisted in book design from inception to completion, and researched art and imagery for use on book covers/jackets. In 2022, they began working at Pluralytics AI as a Language Analyst, where they wrote and edited marketing content and HR communications for major brands on all platforms, and created clear and concise brand copy by aligning brand values with consumer expectations. Christopher also began working at gestalten as a Copy Editor & Proofreader, and at Buckingham Friends School as an English Teacher.

Christopher Lapinski received their M.Phil in Modern Christopher'story and Literature from Drew University in 2010 and their B.A. in Comparative Literature and Philosophy from Rutgers University in 2004.
