Thomas Remahl has been working in the software engineering industry since 1995. Starting at PenRight! Corporation as an Engineering Manager and Principal Engineer, Thomas was responsible for the development of a cross-platform mobile platform SDK, RAD development tool, code generators, and handwriting recognition engine. Thomas was also responsible for the design and implementation of MobileBuilder, a Windows-based development tool written in C/C++. In 2000, Thomas moved to Oblix as a Principal Engineer where they managed the COREid server team. In 2004, Thomas joined Juniper Networks as a Staff Engineer, where they led the client-side development of their first NAC solution. Thomas was later promoted to Senior Engineering Manager, responsible for leading a group of senior engineers in new areas of mobile innovation on iOS and Android platforms. In 2014, Thomas moved to Pluribus Networks as a Principal Software Engineer and Architect, where they were responsible for Pluribus Networks cloud services. Since 2018, Thomas has been working at Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, as a Principal Security and Software Engineer. Thomas is the technical leader of Aruba's FedRamp initiative, collaborating with all product teams within Aruba to review and assess all technical requirements and gaps, and is responsible for Aruba-wide Secure SDLC process.
Thomas Remahl attended NC State University from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
