Brian Hawkins

Brian Hawkins has a diverse work experience. Brian currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Pluristyx, Inc. since February 2019. Prior to this, they worked at BioLife Solutions, Inc. where they held the position of Scientific Applications Director from January 2018 to January 2019 and Senior Application Scientist from September 2014 to December 2017. Before joining BioLife Solutions, Inc., they worked at the University of Washington as an Assistant Professor in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine from June 2010 to September 2014. Brian also worked as a Research Scientist at Temple University from July 2008 to May 2010, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania from September 2003 to June 2008.

Brian Hawkins received their Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology and Biotechnology from Virginia Tech from 2000 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained their M.S. in Exercise Science and Adult Health from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania from 1998 to 2000. Brian completed their undergraduate studies at Penn State University, earning a B.S. in Exercise Science with a minor in Business from 1993 to 1998.
