Warren K. Lucas, PhD, SE has over 30 years of work experience in structural engineering. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering from 1987 to 1993. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil Engineering from 1994 to 2001.

In addition to their educational background, Lucas has obtained several certifications. In January 2002, they acquired the NCEES Record from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying. Warren K. became a Registered Professional Engineer through the Kansas State Board of Technical Professions in June 1993. Furthermore, they obtained the Registered Professional Civil Engineer certification from the Alaska State Board of Registration for Architects, Engineers, and Land Surveyors in April 2011.
