Abhijit Majumdar

Abhijit Majumdar has a diverse work experience in the field of robotics and automation. Abhijit started their career in 2014 as a Research and Development Engineer at MG Automation Technologies, where they were involved in developing and designing sensor modules and custom parts using CAD. In 2017, they joined The University of Texas at San Antonio as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they focused on control applications in robotics, vision-based machine learning, and reinforcement learning for control in mobile robots. During their time there, they also built and worked on various robots, including a custom-built 3D printed open-source quadcopter. In 2019, they joined Plus One Robotics as an AI/Vision Developer, and later transitioned to the role of Senior Developer - AI in 2021.

Abhijit Majumdar earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology from Shri Ramdeobaba Kamla Nehru Engineering College, Katol Road, between 2010 and 2014. Later, between 2016 and 2018, Abhijit pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering at The University of Texas at San Antonio.
