Kati Niemelä

Kati Niemelä has a diverse work experience, with their most recent position being the Chairman of the Board at Mint of Finland Group starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at PlusTerveys Oy as the Finance and Administration Director since 2017, where they were responsible for financial, procurement, and IT matters. Kati also held roles in HR, payroll, and served as a Board member in PlusTerveys Kvalident and a secretary in other PlusTerveys companies. Kati Niemelä has also worked as a Member of the Board at Finferries - Suomen Lauttaliikenne since 2016. Kati has held various Board member positions in different organizations, such as Ottoboni, Edita Bobergs AB, KliKKi, Sitrus Agency Oy, Ottoboni Finland Oy, and Edita Prima Oy, from 2005 to 2017.

Kati Niemelä completed their education from 1986 to 1990 at Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Finance and accounting.
