David Mosby has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on claims resolution. David began their career at Liberty Mutual Insurance in 1999, where they held roles as a Senior Claim Resolution Specialist and a Complex Claim Resolution Specialist. In 2020, they joined Plymouth Rock Assurance as a Claims Team Lead for Liability and Litigation and also served as a Senior Claims Representative for Home claims. Additionally, they have been actively involved in the CPCU Society, serving as the Chapter Treasurer for the Rhode Island chapter in 2021 and the President of the RI CPCU Chapter in 2024. David Mosby holds an M.B.A and certifications in CPCU, ARM, and API.

David Mosby has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Global Business Leadership from Johnson & Wales University, which they completed from 2006 to 2008. David obtained the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation from The Institutes, studying from 2013 to 2022. David is also a Certified Automobile Subrogation Arbitrator from Arbitration Forums (2008-2016) and holds a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification (2008-2016). Additionally, they are a State of Rhode Island Notary from 2003 to 2016. David Mosby has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology and Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (1986-1990), with a certification in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration. David is currently in good standing as a CPCU, obtained in December 2020 from The Institutes.
