Meng Sun

Meng Sun is a Senior Data Scientist at Plymouth Rock Assurance since May 2022, where responsibilities include producing complex predictive models for rating plans, applying predictive modeling for growth strategies, and managing high-complexity projects. Prior experience includes a Data Scientist role and Research Assistant at Simon Fraser University from September 2018 to September 2022, where Meng Sun focused on regression models and actuarial pricing. Earlier work as a Research Assistant at the Goldenson Center of Actuarial Research involved collaborating on varied actuarial projects. Meng Sun holds a PhD in Statistics and Actuarial Science from Simon Fraser University, a Master's in Actuarial Science from the University of Connecticut, and a Bachelor's in Actuarial Science and Finance from the University of International Business and Economics.
