Karina Rimas

Karina Rimas, CPA has a vast work experience spanning over 18 years. Karina is currently working at PLZ Corp as the Sr. Director - Corporate Accounting. Prior to that, they held the role of Director of Corporate Accounting and Shared Services at the same company. Karina also worked as a Corporate Accounting Manager at PLZ Corp. Before joining PLZ Corp, Karina worked as a Senior Financial Accounting Analyst at Takeda for four years. Karina also served as a Controller at Svigos Asset Management. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Financial Analysis and Reporting Manager and Senior Accountant at Blackman Kallick. Karina started their career as an Accountant at Innovative Plastic and later worked as an Accounting Supervisor at E. A. Langenfeld Associates. Karina began their professional journey as a Staff Accountant at Hotel Orrington after working as a Sales Coordinator at First Hospitality Group. Throughout their career, Karina has gained extensive experience in corporate accounting and financial analysis.

Karina Rimas, CPA, holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Computer Sciences from the University of Illinois Chicago, earned between 2000 and 2003. Karina went on to obtain a Master of Science in Accountancy, with a specialization in Accounting, from the DePaul Driehaus College of Business, completing their studies between 2005 and 2010. Additionally, Karina has obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant.
