Katie Freed

Katie Freed, PMP, has a diverse range of experience in project management and administrative roles. Katie is currently the Director of Project Management at PLZ Corp, where they lead a team and drives strategic initiatives across various divisions. Prior to this role, Katie served as a Senior Project Manager and Project Manager at PLZ Corp, overseeing complex projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Katie'sexperience also includes roles as a Documentation and Specifications specialist at PLZ Corp, an intern at Total Event Resources, the McLean County Unit 5 School District, and Glatz Management Services, Inc, where they gained valuable skills in event planning, communication, and networking. Katie began their career as a Building Attendant at Palatine Park District, where they demonstrated professionalism and organizational skills.

Katie Freed, PMP, obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies: Organizational and Leadership Communication from Illinois State University in 2012. In 2018, they received their PMP certification from the PMI Chicagoland Chapter.
