Ryan L. Butler

Ryan L. Butler has a diverse work experience in the sustainability and energy sector. Ryan L. is currently serving as the Corporate Director of Sustainability + Energy at PM Hotel Group, where they lead strategic sustainability initiatives and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to implement energy, water, and waste reduction programs. Prior to that, Ryan worked as the Business Operations Lead at REIT Academy, where they focused on raising the bar for REIT education through comprehensive programs and sector exploration.

Before joining REIT Academy, Ryan worked at JLL as a Project Manager in the Energy and Sustainability department, where they provided sustainability advisory services, managed ESG reporting, and worked on green building certifications. Ryan L. also served as an Associate Project Manager, working closely with clients to implement energy efficiency goals and sustainability programs.

Ryan started their career at NORESCO as an Engineer, specializing in energy systems and technical engineering expertise. Ryan L. later took on the role of Associate Engineer. Prior to that, they were involved in projects at Lehigh University's Industrial Assessment Center and worked as a Thermodynamics 1 Tutor.

Additionally, Ryan has experience as a Professional Choir Member at St. Anne's Catholic Church.

Ryan L. Butler completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University in the years 2010 to 2014. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Real Estate from Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies, beginning in 2022.
