John Evans is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership, strategy, and operational management across various sectors. As the Founder and Director of The Digital Peloton since March 2019, John leads initiatives in programmatic targeting for healthcare professionals. Additionally, John serves as a committee member for the Digital Interest Group at PM Society, contributing to improvements in healthcare communications. In the education sector, John is a Founding Trustee of EQUA Mead Learning Trust, overseeing the growth of the Multi-Academy Trust. Previous roles include Founder and CEO of Manx Incahoot Ltd and Director positions at Thames Water, where John managed transformative business processes. John's earlier career included significant roles at E.ON UK and Flogas Britain, complemented by a solid educational background featuring an MBA from Aston University and various leadership programs at prestigious institutions.
PM Society
The PM Society was established over 40 years ago as a not-for-profit organisation to serve the needs of the pharmaceutical industry and its service agencies. It currently has over 230 UK companies as members, including pharma and biotech companies on the industry side and PR, Advertising, Medical Communications, Digital and many other kinds of service company on the agency side. It is run by a voluntary Executive Committee, and supported by a small office staff. The Executive steers the direction of the Society in conjunction with the wider Committee of industry professionals, and works hard to forge close working relationships with other industry and NHS groups, including the ABPI, HCA and TOPRA, for the benefit of its membership. The Society has Interest Groups aligned to the current challenges and issues facing today’s marketers - Market Access, Digital, Patient Engagement, Industry Agency Relations, Sustainability, and Diversity - these are run by experts in the field, and run alongside the two highly regarded Award schemes – the PM Society Awards and the Digital Awards. The PM Society’s flexible modular training programme is developed by the industry for the industry and addresses the specific training needs for pharmaceutical marketing and associated life sciences disciplines. Courses run throughout the year and are tailored for those new to marketing, anyone needing a refresher and advanced modules for the more experienced marketer.
