Prashant Munot

Prashant Munot has been in the software engineering field since 2001. Prashant started at Latitude Communications as a Member of Technical Staff. In 2001, they moved to EllieMae as a Sr. Software Developer, where they contributed to build the platform and numerous B2B integrations. In 2005, they joined Microsoft as a Software Design Engineer. In 2010, they became a Technical Lead at Tiburon, where they worked on a product with a cause. In 2011, they joined Symantec as a Sr. Principal Engineer, where they explored NoSQL and Big Data technologies. In 2015, they moved to Palo Alto Networks as a Principal Engineer, where they built a multi-tenant, scalable data security service. In 2016, they joined Waterline Data as a Member of Technical Staff, where they built a Big Data Catalog. In 2019, they became a Principal Software Engineer at Promethium, where they architected an API-first design and lead Rest API development.

Prashant Munot completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Pune Institute of Computer Technology. Prashant also holds a certification in Python for Programmers UCSC A+ from UCSC.
