Aaron Coats

Aaron Coats is an accomplished BIM Manager currently leading Revit implementation at PMDL Architecture + Design since February 2024, overseeing budgeting, delivery, protocols, and staff training across multiple locations including Sydney, Melbourne, Geelong, and Hong Kong. Previously, Aaron served as Associate Director and National BIM Manager at Bates Smart from January 2008 to January 2024, where responsibilities included managing Revit implementation and design technology software. Aaron's experience also includes roles as Architectural Technician/Project CAD-Coordinator at Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP, Studio IT/CAD Manager at Bates Smart, and CAD Manager at Suters Architects. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Curtin University and an Associate Diploma of Architecture Drafting from TAFE NSW.
