PMI Israel is the local chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) - the world’s leading not-for-profit membership association for the project management profession, with more than 600,000 members and credential holders in more than 185 countries. The goal of PMI Israel chapter is to implement the practical methodology of project management institute and to preserve the enormous knowledge of project management which had been collected over the years, at different companies and organizations in Israel. PMI Israel holds an annual convention during the month of May. PMI Israel performs project management related professional tours to our chapter members at various companies in Israel. PMI Israel also publishes a monthly electronic newsletter (which can also be viewed on our website) distributed to thousands of project managers and other professionals. At PMI Israel, we are also engaged with the process of PMP® (Project Management Professional) certification by encouraging Israeli project managers to obtain the prestige professional certification, a certification which is well recognized all over the world. PMI Israel maintains constant "on going" professional connections with fellow chapters all over the world. All of our activities are conducted by volunteers, most of whom are members of the Chapter management.
