Dr. Hasan Tayyeb.

Dr. Hasan Tayyeb, P.Eng, PE, PMP, RMP, PBA, ACP, P3O, PPL, currently serves as the Head of Development for NEOM Airports since October 2023. With extensive experience in project management, Dr. Tayyeb holds multiple leadership roles including Executive Board Member, Senior Vice President, and Executive Director of the Western and Southern Region at PMI KSA Chapter from August 2020. As President of the Project Management Chapter at the Saudi Council of Engineers from February 2021 to February 2024, and previously as PMO General Manager at MATARAT from September 2022 to September 2023, Dr. Tayyeb has significantly influenced project management practices. Prior roles also include General Director PMO/EPMO & Operational Excellence at Makkah Region Development Authority and a professorship at Umm Al-Qura University. Dr. Tayyeb's academic qualifications include a PhD in Transportation Management and a Master of Engineering in Modeling and Simulation from Carleton University, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Umm Al-Qura University.
