Michael Ghobros, P.Eng., M.Eng., PMP, currently serves as the Director of Technology Regulation and iGaming Compliance at The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, having held various leadership positions since 2020. Additionally, Michael contributes as a Director on the Board of Partners In Health Canada and as an Adjunct Professor at Humber College in several technology-related programs. Michael's prior experience includes directing global professional services at SOTI, chairing the Board of Directors for PMI Lakeshore Ontario Chapter, and leading project delivery and operations at Deluxe Corporation, GSK, and The TJX Companies. Michael holds a Master of Engineering from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Alexandria University.

The PMI Lakeshore Ontario Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) is a non-profit body of volunteers, established in 1999, to promote further awareness and recognition to the proven and established methodologies for structured project management. The PMI Lakeshore Ontario Chapter of the Project Management Institute will support the Project Management Institute in its stated organizational purpose: "The Project Management Institute is an international organization working to improve project and program performance by serving its members, the profession, society and a wide range of public, application areas and cultures." The PMI Lakeshore Ontario Chapter (C193) of the Project Management Institute is a non-profit body of volunteers established in 1999 to promote the effective use of proven methodologies for structured project management in organizations in the Regions of Peel, Halton, Hamilton-Wentworth and Niagara. The Chapter has over 3000+ members and over 73% of these members have achieved their Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications. The Chapter provides its members with a number of networking and professional development opportunities each year, including Monday Dinner Meetings, Wednesday Evening Learning & Networking and Saturday workshops and courses. #pmiloc
