Anita N. Schmid

Anita N. Schmid, PhD, is an accomplished clinical science professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Currently serving as Clinical Science Lead at PMV Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since November 2024, Anita previously held the position of Executive Director of Clinical Science at Aadi Bioscience, Inc. from August 2017 to November 2024, where responsibilities included the development of clinical trial protocols and IND/NDA submission materials. Prior experience encompasses roles at Celgene in Clinical R&D and Medical Affairs, as well as positions in Medical Writing at Abraxis BioScience and within various medical communication companies. Anita's early career included research as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Southern California, focusing on neurobiology and Alzheimer's disease. Anita earned a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California between 2001 and 2005.
