Weihong Zhang

Weihong Zhang is a highly experienced professional in the field of chemical development and manufacturing, currently serving as the Director of CMC at PMV Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since March 2025. Prior to this role, Zhang held similar positions as the Director of CMC at the BARUCH S. BLUMBERG INSTITUTE from March 2023 to September 2024 and as the Director of Chemical Development at Proteovant Therapeutics from February 2022 to January 2023. Zhang's extensive background includes significant tenures at Bristol Myers Squibb and Celgene, where Zhang advanced from Research Scientist to Senior Principal Scientist between 2001 and 2022. Educationally, Zhang earned a Post-doctoral degree in Organic Synthesis from Yale University and holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Rutgers University–New Brunswick, complemented by a BS in Chemistry from Wuhan University.
