Gary Angel

Gary Angel is an experienced executive in the fields of analytics and data strategy, currently serving as SVP Analytics and Data Strategy at PMY Group since November 2024. Prior to this role, Gary was the CEO and Founder of Digital Mortar from November 2016 to December 2024, where leadership encompassed product, sales, marketing, and operations of a comprehensive in-store customer tracking system. Earlier in their career, Gary held the position of Partner/Principal at Ernst & Young's Digital Analytics Center of Excellence, leading a practice focused on digital measurement and analytics. Gary also co-founded and served as President and CTO of Semphonic, a prominent figure in digital measurement and web analytics. Gary holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Economics from Duke University, earned between 1979 and 1983.
