Sarang Cheema

Sarang Cheema is the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at PNB MetLife.

Sarang has been associated with PNB MetLife since 2016 and is responsible for overseeing and managing enterprise compliance efforts, enterprise risk management framework, designing and implementing internal controls, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws. Sarang also oversees and manages the Fraud Control Unit (FCU), Government Relations (GR) and Internal Financial Controls (IFC) monitoring efforts of the Company.

Sarang is a Chartered Accountant, a qualified lawyer and a Certified Information Systems Auditor and has an extensive experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, internal audit and forensics for the Indian insurance sector.

Prior to joining PNB MetLife, he has worked with organizations such as SBI Life Insurance Company, KPMG, ICICI Prudential, TCS and Tech Mahindra.
