Shashwat Gupta

Shashwat Gupta is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the medical technology and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as Principal of the New Therapy Accelerator at Boston Scientific since August 2021, Shashwat is focused on establishing infrastructure for groundbreaking R&D programs and leading research on two cancer therapies. Concurrently, Shashwat is involved in operations at Galaxy India and founded PneumoNIX Medical, developing gel-based technologies for medical applications. Shashwat also holds a role as an NSF STTR/SBIR Reviewer for the National Science Foundation. Previously, Shashwat was Global Product Manager at IZI Medical, where responsibilities included product development and strategic marketing, and served as Research and Development Engineer at Coridea, LLC. Shashwat's educational background includes a Master's degree in Bioengineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, complemented by an MBA Peek from Harvard University.
