Emba Brent Heffington

Brent Heffington, EMBA, has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Brent is currently serving as the PNM Managing Director of Generation at the Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Xcel Energy for over 16 years, taking on various roles including Plant Director, Comanche Station; Senior Operations Manager; Manager, Technical Resources & Compliance; Maintenance Manager; Engineer/I&C Supervisor; and Technical Specialist II. Brent started their professional career at Southwestern Public Service as a Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic.

Brent Heffington, EMBA has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University. Brent also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from Lubbock Christian University. Additionally, they have completed an Executive MBA program from Washington State University.
