Darren Gennings is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience in technical management and engineering roles across various companies. Currently serving as Senior Technical Manager at P&O Maritime since April 2019, Darren oversees operations in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Previous positions include Contract Manager and New Build Superintendent at Smit Lamnalco, Technical Manager at CMI Offshore Limited, and Senior Superintendent at Topaz Energy and Marine. Darren's career also includes roles such as Engineering Superintendent at HydroDive Group, Port Engineer at J P Knight (Paranam) Limited, Chief Engineer at Adsteam Towage, and Commissioning & Acceptance Engineer at Carnival Corporate Shipbuilding/Cunard Line. Darren started the career as a Cadet - 2EO at Bergesen d.y. ASA, working on LPG/C and LNG Carriers. Academic qualifications include an HND in Marine Vessel Engineering from Solent University.
