Liesbeth van den Berg

User Experience Designer at POAP

Liesbeth van den Berg has held a variety of roles in the healthcare and technology industries. Liesbeth started their career in 2011 as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at the Academic Medical Center (AMC). In 2014, they became an E-learning Developer and conducted research on mHealth UX at the same institution. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Serious Game Researcher at Radboud University, and in 2017 they became an External Examiner at Hogeschool Inholland. From 2018 to 2020, they held multiple roles at TNO, including User Experience Consultant, Project Manager, Human Resources Consultant, and User Experience Researcher. During this time, they were also a Sandbox Member at Sandbox, where they shared ideas and opportunities with other young achievers. From 2020 to 2022, they were a University Lecturer in Medical Informatics at Amsterdam UMC, and they are currently a User Experience Designer at POAP - Bookmarks for your life.

Liesbeth van den Berg started their education in 2002 at Bonhoeffer College, where they obtained a HAVO degree in Nature & Health / Natuur & Gezondheid. In 2007, they attended Koninklijke Nederlandse Schaatsrijders Bond to become a KNSB Speed skating leader level 2. From 2008 to 2010, they studied Health Physics level 4A/B at Inholland University of Applied Sciences. From 2008 to 2012, they obtained a Bachelor of Health degree in Medisch beeldvormende en Radiotherapeutische Technieken at Inholland University of Applied Sciences. In 2013, they attended the University of Amsterdam for a Pre-master in Medical Informatics. From 2014 to 2016, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Studies - Track: Game Studies from the University of Amsterdam. Finally, from 2014 to 2017, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Medical Informatics from the University of Amsterdam.
