Senior Full Stack Developer at POAP

Mentor Palokaj has accumulated a diverse range of work experience over the years. Mentor currently holds the position of Senior Full Stack Developer at POAP - The Proof of Attendance Protocol. Prior to this, they founded Generous VPN, a freemium VPN service, where they were responsible for developing and managing the entire project. In addition, they served as a Senior Full Stack Developer at Make Some NOISE Group, where they built various applications for corporate clients using technologies like React and Firebase.

Mentor Palokaj also held the role of Chief Technology Officer at Zezame, where they planned the architecture of solutions and supervised development and deployment efforts. Mentor served as the Interim Technical Lead at Excess Materials Exchange, overseeing the management of an external development initiative and building and deploying a full-stack prototype.

In terms of education, they worked as a Lead instructor at The New York Code + Design Academy, teaching a full-time NodeJS development program. In 2009, Mentor Palokaj obtained their IB Program English language A2 higher level degree from the International Baccalaureate. Mentor also received the KNGU Teachers General License Level 3 certification from KNGU in the same year.

Continuing their educational journey, Mentor Palokaj attended Maastricht University from 2011 to 2014, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences. In 2011, they also pursued Applied Nutrition Science at NTI Applied Science.

In 2013, Mentor Palokaj attended Draper University to study Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies, earning the degree of Hero. Later, in 2015, they pursued a Master's Degree in Information Science with a track in Game Studies at the University of Amsterdam, completing it in 2016.

To further enhance their skills in the field of computer science, Mentor Palokaj completed the Artificial Intelligence Nanodegree program at Udacity in 2018.

Alongside their formal education, Mentor Palokaj obtained certifications in various fields. Mentor became a certified PADI Open Water diver through Select Diving in 2007 and received the PADI Open Water certification from PADI, though the specific dates of certification are not provided.
