Carlota S. is a seasoned cybersecurity professional and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Founder and Community CISO at Pocket CISO since November 2022, providing strategic cybersecurity advisory services to early-stage startups and small organizations. Carlota also functions as an Instructor and BISO Mentor at GRCIE and advises the Board of Directors at The Diana Initiative. Previously, Carlota was the CEO and Principal Consultant at Tulle Software & Services, where the focus transitioned to technology and security strategy consulting. Additional experience includes roles as vCISO Principal and Program Manager at various companies, including Mandiant/FireEye, where contributions were made towards collaboration and knowledge strategy. Academic credentials include an MS in Information and Knowledge Strategy from Columbia University and a BS in Textile Chemistry from North Carolina State University.
