Janelle Somoano, SHRM-CP has a broad range of work experience in the Human Resources field. Janelle began their career in 2016 as an Office Manager / HR Coordinator at Hook Studios. In 2017, they moved to On Board Experiential, where they held the roles of HR Coordinator and Office Administrator / HR Coordinator. In 2020, they joined Social27 Inc. as a Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Generalist, where they managed recruitment and hiring processes, performance evaluations, employee relations, payroll accuracy, and employee engagement surveys. Currently, they are a Senior Human Resources Manager at Pocket Network Inc.

Janelle Somoano holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies from California State University, Long Beach, which they obtained between 2011 and 2016. In 2017, they obtained a Human Resources Management Certification from Loyola Marymount University. In February 2019, they obtained a SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM. Janelle also holds a Veterants at Work Certificate from SHRM, which they obtained in January 2022.
