Olivier Malafronte

Olivier Malafronte has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Olivier is currently pursuing a PHD in Human Resources, Leadership, Coaching, and Artificial Intelligence at Université Côte d'Azur. In 2021, they also became a contributor to the ICF Global AI Coaching Standards working group at the International Coaching Federation.

In 2016, Malafronte founded PocketConfidant AI, a company focused on developing cutting-edge technologies to support individuals, groups, and organizations in their personal and professional development. The company uses algorithms to automate coaching and training behaviors, enhancing coaching products and services.

Olivier has also been involved in entrepreneurship and startup projects. In 2018, Malafronte worked as an entrepreneur at The Refiners, and from 2016 to 2018, they served as an advisor, contributing to team building, prototyping, testing, and overall strategy expression at Reises, a network of farmers focusing on regenerative agriculture in France.

Earlier in their career, Malafronte founded and advised Wootgo.com - The Wootmen Inc. from 2014 to 2017. Olivier also worked as a Sales & Wholesales Manager at BuyMeDesign in 2013 and as a Marketing/Commercial Consultant at Ressources Consulting from February to April 2013.

Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Malafronte gained valuable experience in marketing and strategy. Olivier worked at NetApp from 2011 to 2012, where they were involved in implementing and executing strategic and corporate programs to grow large accounts. Olivier also participated in strategic marketing projects at the Globalization Programs Strategy Office, interacting with international field managers, developing KPIs, and conducting surveys.

Additionally, Malafronte served as an Ambassador at IAE Gustave Eiffel in early 2012.

Olivier Malafronte has a diverse education history. Olivier began their academic journey in 2006 at Lycée des Eucalyptus Nice, where they obtained their Baccalauréat Sciences Techniques Industrielles (STI) with a mention of "Bien" in the field of Industrial Sciences. Olivier then attended Université Côte d'Azur from 2007 to 2009, where they pursued a HND/DUT degree in Quality Management, Logistics, and Organization.

Continuing their education, Olivier enrolled at IAE FRANCE - Écoles Universitaires de Management from 2009 to 2010, where they earned a License in Marketing, Finance, and Strategy. Olivier then pursued a Master's degree in International Business Management at the same institution from 2010 to 2011.

In 2011, Olivier joined IAE Paris-Est, where they completed their Master 2 degree in Management des Réseaux Commerciaux, specializing in Marketing and Sales, from 2011 to 2012.

Seeking further specialization, Olivier attended Memorability - Equilibrio Mind Institute - Management Coaching in 2014 and 2015, becoming a Certified Individual Coach in the field of Coaching.

Olivier's journey in academia continued as they enrolled at CIC - Centre International du Coach from 2020 to 2021, where they pursued a degree in Individual Coach and Team Coach. In the same year, they also attended IAE Nice (Graduate School of Management), earning a Master's degree in Research & Management, with a focus on the Management of Competences.

Currently, Olivier is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General at Université Côte d'Azur, slated to be completed between 2021 and 2024.
