Ed Rothschild

Ed Rothschild is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public affairs and energy policy. As Principal at The Podesta Group since 1997, Rothschild has led the Energy & Environment Sector, advocating for renewable energy clients and managing public relations for various energy and non-energy clients. Prior to this role, Rothschild served as Public Affairs Director and Energy Policy Director at Citizen Action, where responsibilities included policy analysis, congressional testimony, lobbying, and organizing grassroots actions. Rothschild holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Boston University, earned between 1965 and 1969. Rothschild retired from The Podesta Group in July 2016.
