Emily Magee

Emily Magee is an accomplished entertainment professional with extensive experience in content acquisition and development. Currently serving as the Director of Acquisitions at Podium Entertainment since September 2025, Emily previously held the role of Content Acquisition and Licensing Director at Pocket FM, where responsibilities included leading the content acquisition strategy and managing partnerships with various stakeholders. During tenure as Director of Development at Frayed Pages Media, valuable contributions were made in developing long-term projects and supporting the foundation of the production company. Earlier roles included Director of Development at Harbinger Pictures, where significant projects such as Colleen Hoover's REGRETTING YOU were executed, along with various positions that honed skills in script evaluation, contract negotiation, and relationship management. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology with a focus on Writing from Washington University in St. Louis.
