Luis Ángel Castillo

Luis Ángel Castillo has work experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer at POET Technologies starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Drafter/Machinist Intern at Everdoor, S.R.L. from January 2021 to March 2021. In this role, they designed various parts using SolidWorks to be machined with CNC's, created toolpaths and generated G-code using Mastercam, and also operated CNC mills to machine metallic and plastic parts.

Luis Ángel Castillo earned a Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra. Luis Ángel attended the university from 2016 to 2021. Additionally, they obtained the certifications of Certified SolidWorks Professional - Mechanical Design (CSWP) in May 2022 and Certified SolidWorks Associate - Mechanical Design (CSWA) in January 2021, both from Dassault Systèmes.
