Dominic Sumlin

Dominic Sumlin has a strong background in recruiting and human resources. Dominic started their career at Amazon in 2013 as a Recruiting Coordinator, where they were responsible for scheduling interviews, updating candidate records, and providing follow-up correspondence to candidates. After working at Amazon for a year, Dominic joined Microsoft in 2015 as an HR Associate. During their time at Microsoft, they took on various roles, including Talent Sourcer, where they built and maintained candidate pipelines, and Recruiting External Associate, where they were involved in all aspects of the recruiting process and served as a mentor to new hires. In 2017, Dominic joined Point B as a Senior Recruiter, and in 2020, they briefly worked at Redfin as a Recruiter. Throughout their career, Dominic has demonstrated expertise in candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and improving the overall candidate experience. Dominic has also developed a comprehensive understanding of HR information systems and tools.

Dominic Sumlin attended Loyola Marymount University from 2009 to 2010, but did not complete a degree or specify a field of study during this time. Dominic then went on to study at Washington State University from 2011 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology.
