Nena Mason Ph.D. is a highly experienced professional in medical education and ultrasound training, currently serving as Chair of the Education Committee at the Point-of-Care Ultrasound Certification Academy and as a Faculty Member at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. With a strong background in physiology, anatomy, and ultrasound education, Nena has held various academic roles, including Director of Gross Anatomy and Associate Professor at Rocky Vista University, and Assistant Professor at California Northstate University, where Nena developed curricula and delivered lectures. Nena's earlier research experience includes roles at Brigham Young University, focusing on translational anatomy and advanced dissection techniques, while also providing tutoring and instruction in physiology and anatomy at various educational institutions. Nena holds a Ph.D. in Physiology and Developmental Biology from Brigham Young University and a B.S. in Human Biology from Brigham Young University - Idaho.
