Darrin Smith has extensive work experience in customer experience and support roles. Darrin is currently working as the SVP Global Customer Experience at Point of Rental Software, where they lead and develops teams responsible for customer engagement and defining a world-class customer journey. Prior to this, they worked at ECi Software Solutions as the Director of Customer Experience, where they focused on building support processes and employee development for a global support organization. Darrin also served as the Director of Services & Software Support at ECi, overseeing global support and professional services.

In these positions, they managed global support teams, improved customer experience, and coordinated with multiple programs to ensure aligned resources and roadmaps.

Darrin's career began at Sega, where they served as a Support and Partner Manager, responsible for managing relationships with outsourced vendors and developing support processes. Darrin also worked at Intek/Etinuum as a Contact Center Manager, leading a team of care agents and reporting KPIs to clients.

Throughout their career, Darrin has consistently focused on process improvement, delivering the best possible customer experience, and utilizing VOC feedback to drive results.

Darrin Smith completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University, where they studied from 1993 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Arvada West High, although the specific dates and any degrees or fields of study are unknown. Darrin has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2021, they received certifications in Change Leadership and Connecting with Executives from LinkedIn.
