Head of Customer Operations at Point

Chuck Wood has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Chuck is currently the Head of Customer Operations at Point, a position they have held since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Doma, an insuretech company, where they served as the Head of Business Operations and later as the Director of Business Operations. In these roles, Chuck was responsible for strategic planning, budgeting, new product launches, process improvement, and cross-functional project management. Before joining Doma, they worked at Bain & Company as a Manager and Consultant, where they gained expertise in client organizations and industries, and developed transformative solutions based on data insights. Chuck also has military experience from their time in the US Army, where they held various leadership positions, including Plans Officer, Human Resources Officer, and Reconnaissance Platoon Leader, among others. Chuck'smilitary roles involved planning operations, overseeing personnel and equipment, and ensuring the safety and readiness of their units.

Chuck Wood obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Systems Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Chuck later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, attending from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Chuck has obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in September and August 2020, respectively, as well as the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2020.
