Darren Starsmore

Darren Starsmore is an experienced technology leader with a career spanning several prominent firms in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Head of International Technology at Point72 since November 2023, Darren previously held the position of SVP - Head of APAC Region at EPAM Systems from March 2013 to October 2023. At EPAM, Darren was responsible for the APAC region and also held roles as Account Manager for DACH Banking and Financial Services. Prior experience includes significant roles at UBS Wealth Management, where Darren was involved in various technology leadership positions, including Global Head of FXMM Operations IT and Swiss Regional Head for Investment Banking IT. Darren began the career at GE Medical Systems as an Apprentice Engineer and has held multiple positions focused on technology in financial services across different organizations, including TradeWeb and CSFB. Education was completed at the University of Bedfordshire.
