Phil Lebherz

Phil Lebherz has been a leader in the health care industry for over 40 years. In 1977, they founded LISI, a California based distribution channel with more than 6000 independent brokers and 16,000 group accounts. In 1995, they founded CoPower, which packages products, underwrites applications and markets products to businesses through general agents and brokers. In 2005, they became the Founding Director of the Foundation for Health Coverage Education, a 501c3 foundation whose mission is to lower the ranks of the uninsured in America by educating uninsured about their health care options. In 2012, they founded PointCare, which gives health systems a Coverage Management system that allows them to adapt to the ever changing health coverage landscape. Studies at Sharp Hospitals in San Diego have shown dramatic improvements in patient relationships, third party reimbursements, self pay revenue and employee attitudes. As of 2016, Over 65,000 self-pay patients have learned their eligibility at Sharp.

Phil Lebherz obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Chico State between 1973 and 1976, with a focus on accounting and computer programming.
