Brian Buys

Brian Buys, RN, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Brian currently holds the position of Vice President, Senior Care at PointClickCare, a role they have been in since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as Vice President, Clinical Product Management at the same company from December 2020 to December 2021. Before joining PointClickCare, Brian worked as the Sr. Director, Clinical Product Management and Director of Product Management, Clinical Documentation and Care Content at the company.

From 2014 to present, Brian also held the position of Principal at Aletheia Advisors, where they provided strategic guidance, portfolio assessments, and implementation support for technology-focused ventures in the healthcare and life sciences industry.

Brian's previous experience includes being the President and CEO of 3Pound Health, where they led a team in the development and delivery of innovative patient engagement software. Brian was also the Global Category Manager at Welch Allyn, focusing on ambulatory care roadmap definition and strategic marketing. Additionally, Brian worked as the Category Director at Cardinal Health, managing a portfolio of vendors in the Wound Care category.

Earlier in their career, Brian worked at Battelle as a Market Manager, providing marketing and sales leadership for various services. Brian served as an Associate Product Manager at Respironics, where they managed product development and revenue growth. Brian also worked as a Project Manager at Epic Systems Corporation, overseeing the implementation of clinical documentation systems for healthcare organizations.

Brian's career began as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Cross Country TravCorps and Spectrum Health.

Brian Buys, RN, MBA obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Calvin University from 1993 to 1997. Brian then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business from 2001 to 2003.
