John Morseau

John Morseau is a Senior Policy Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis since May 2023 and has served as a Tribal Councilman for the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi since August 2020. Previously, John was the Tribal Relations Lead at Ørsted, where efforts focused on establishing sustainable partnerships with American Indian Tribes and indigenous communities. John's extensive background includes roles such as Director on the Board of Directors for the Pokagon Gaming Authority, Staff Attorney at Michigan Indian Legal Services, and Judicial Law Clerk for the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from The University of New Mexico School of Law, where John also received the Charles A. Hobbs Award for achieving the highest grade in Federal Indian Law. Additional degrees include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Michigan State University and an Associate of Arts in Political Science from Southwestern Michigan College.
