Support Content Lead at The Pokémon Company International

Adam Dewji has a diverse range of work experience in various roles. Adam is currently working as a Support Content Lead at The Pokémon Company International since September 2022. Prior to this, they were an Instructional Designer at ETU from February 2021 to September 2022, where they designed learner-driven, interactive simulations focusing on soft skills.

Before that, Adam worked as a Technical Writer at ScalePad from July 2019 to January 2021, where they wrote and managed customer-facing content, built a Help Center from scratch, and maintained an internal knowledge base. Adam also replied to support tickets, assisted in managing the queue, and edited company-wide communications.

Adam's work experience also includes a role as a Senior Technical Writer at SureSkills from April 2018 to December 2018, where they worked on Microsoft and Google projects, writing and maintaining content for customer-facing documentation and adhering to style guides.

Adam was also a Lead Technical Writer at Google from January 2017 to March 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Customer Support Specialist at Clio - Legal Practice Management Software from December 2015 to July 2016, and as a Technical Writer, Training and Support Manager at Purdys Chocolatier from August 2015 to January 2016.

In addition, Adam has experience as a Senior Technical Support Representative at Shaw Communications from January 2015 to August 2015, where they received escalated calls, resolved complex issues, coached new staff, and improved customer satisfaction.

Adam's earlier work experience includes a role as a Technical Writer, Training and Support Manager at Purdys Chocolatier from August 2014 to January 2015, and as a Technical Writer at EPASS Software from December 2013 to August 2014.

Adam Dewji completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Interactive Arts + Technology at Simon Fraser University from 2007 to 2013. In 2014, they enrolled at Simon Fraser University as a Non-Degree Student, pursuing their studies in Educational/Instructional Technology. From 2015 to 2017, Adam attended Vancouver Community College (VCC) and obtained a Provincial Instructor Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education.

Additionally, Adam has obtained multiple certifications from LinkedIn, including Designing Scenario-Based Learning, Agile Instructional Design, Become an Instructional Designer, Being an Effective Team Member, Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers, Customer Experience: Creating Customer Personas, Customer Service: Handling Abusive Customers, Elearning Essentials: Storyboarding, HTML Essential Training, Instructional Design Essentials: Models of ID, Instructional Design: Adult Learners, Instructional Design: Creating Video Training, Instructional Design: Needs Analysis, Instructional Design: Working with SMEs, Level Up Your Remote Team Experience, Measuring Learning Effectiveness, Supporting Workers with Disabilities, and UX Design: 1 Overview. These certifications were obtained in June and July of 2022.
