Elena Nardo has a strong background in localization and editing within the gaming industry. Elena started their career in 2000 as a Translator at Abbott Diagnostics and then moved on to work as a Translator for Nintendo from 2002 to 2007. In 2008, they worked as an Independent Localization Professional for Nintendo and Codemasters. Elena joined The Pokémon Company International in 2009 as a Localisation Manager and gradually worked their way up to Senior Localisation Manager in 2016. In 2017, they took on the role of Director of Localisation and Editing and recently became the Senior Director of Localisation and Editing in May 2021. Elena Nardo's extensive experience in localization and editing positions their well for their current role at The Pokémon Company International.
From 1990 to 1997, Elena Nardo attended Scuola Superiore per Interpreti e Traduttori di Forlì. Elena pursued a degree in Interpretation and specialized in the field of Translation and Interpreting.
