Ireneusz Radko

German Localisation Editing Manager at The Pokémon Company International

Ireneusz Radko has diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Ireneusz began their career as an Editorial Intern at Moses Mendelssohn Zentrum in October 2002, where they worked until March 2004. Following this, they joined Deutsche Welle as a News desk producer's assistant in July 2004 and remained until December 2009.

In 2013, Ireneusz joined Localsoft, S.L. as an LQA Tester for the German language from April to July. Later that year, they joined Pole To Win Europe Ltd. as a German Proofreader/ LQA Tester from November 2013 to November 2014. From November 2014 to July 2015, they served as an EN to GE Translator, and from July to November 2015, they acted as the Acting Supervisor & EN to GE Translator.

Since December 2015, Ireneusz has been associated with The Pokémon Company International. Ireneusz started as a German Editor and worked until April 2019. Following this, they took on the role of Senior German Editor until July 2021. Currently, they hold the position of German Localization Editing Manager.

Ireneusz Radko completed their education in two different institutions. From 1991 to 2000, they attended Dürer-Gymnasium Nürnberg, where they obtained their Abitur (German high school diploma). Subsequently, from 2001 to 2012, they pursued their higher education at the University of Potsdam. During this period, Ireneusz earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in German Philology, Media and Comparative Literature.
