Jari Rantala

Jari Rantala is an experienced Senior Mechanics Designer with a robust background in mechanics design across various industries, including wearables, consumer electronics, LED technology, and more. Currently with Polar Electro Oy since June 2021, Jari manages a range of responsibilities in the wrist device project, such as piloting and productization, technical discussions with suppliers, and conducting risk analysis. Previous roles include significant positions at Aava Mobile Oy, Greenled Group, Lewel Group Ltd, RD Velho Oy, and Sweco, where Jari focused on mechanics design using various CAD tools and led projects involving electronic devices and outdoor equipment. Jari holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oulu and has pursued further education in Lean and Robotics from Oulu University of Applied Sciences.
