Madeline Young has had a wide range of work experience since 2014. Madeline began as the Vice President of the University of Nebraska at Omaha Chapter of Alpha Eta Rho Collegiate Co-Ed Aviation Fraternity and the President of UNO Maverick Chapter of Women in Aviation International. Madeline also served as an Aviation Institute Assistant Academic Advisor - Student Worker at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. In 2014, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at Oracle Aviation. In 2015, they were a Flight Operations and Safety Management Intern at Jet Linx. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Transportation Intern at U.S. Senate Deb Fischer (R-NE) and an Operations Intern at the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Safety Specialist, Compliance Generalist, and Fleet Optimization Specialist at Jet Linx. Currently, they are a Product Manager and Manager of Customer Experience and Safety Training at Polaris Aero. In 2022, they will be a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Madeline Young has a diverse educational background. Madeline began their education in 2009 at Duchesne Academy of The Sacred Heart, where they obtained their high school degree in 2013. Madeline then attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Air Transportation Administration in 2016. In 2019, they attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha again and completed the Young Alumni Academy. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Engineering in Advanced Safety Engineering and Management at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, which they are expected to complete in 2022. In addition to their educational qualifications, Madeline has obtained several certifications, including a Private Pilot License from the Federal Aviation Administration in 2013, a Safety Leader certification from WYVERN in 2019, an Aviation Lead Auditor certification from Aviation Research Group ARGUS-PROS in 2019, a NBAA Professional Development Program certification from the National Business Aviation Association in 2022, and a Fundamentals of IS-BAO and IS-BAH, Auditing Training certification from IBAC in 2022.
