Alan Meyer

Alan Meyer is a seasoned engineer with extensive expertise in acoustics and vibration. Currently serving as the Senior Staff Engineer for Acoustics & Vibration at Polaris Inc. since January 2014, Alan leads NVH attributes for Indian Motorcycles and On Road Vehicles. Previous roles include NVH Staff Engineer and Senior NVH Engineer at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, as well as Mechanical Engineer - Testing at Purdue University. Alan's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering from Iowa State University, with specialized research focused on vibrations and damage identification in ground vehicles. Alan's career began with engineering co-op experience at John Deere and progressed through various engineering roles at Polaris Industries and Purdue University.
