Shai Mohan

Shai Mohan has a diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Shai started their career in 2012 as a Volunteer Coach at The First Tee of Silicon Valley. In 2014, Shai worked as an Intern Programmer and Software Engineer at Lindamar Capital, LLC, where they developed Monte Carlo simulations in Python to predict future stock values. Shai also improved collaboration skills by working with team members and showcased their programs to the company's CEO.

In 2016, Shai continued their internship at Lindamar Capital, LLC, this time as a Software Developer Intern. Here, they created a program in Python to extract relevant data from stock report PDFs for analysis and machine learning algorithm development. Shai presented the software and results to the company's CEO.

In 2017, Shai joined Avi Networks as a Software Engineering Intern, where they strengthened software infrastructure by writing python scripts for software log analysis and monitoring the datastore.

In 2018, Shai interned at Intuit as a Software Engineer Intern, where they worked on the platform quality engineering team to improve testing tools. Shai conducted technical tool analysis and created proof-of-concept models for new QE tools. Additionally, they enhanced tool concurrency and efficiency by creating API and datastore Docker images.

In 2020, Shai worked as an Educator at First Tee — Silicon Valley, teaching students about important life values and lessons using golf as a medium. Shai helped students understand values such as confidence and responsibility and taught them good habits like time management and goal setting.

Currently, Shai is employed as a Software Developer at Polaris Wireless, where they continue to contribute their technical skills.

Shai Mohan received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Purdue University, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Prior to attending Purdue, Shai Mohan attended Henry M Gunn High School from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Shai Mohan has obtained several certifications including DataWalk App Center Professional and DataWalk Technical Professional from DataWalk in January 2023 and November 2022 respectively. They also obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in October 2019.
